Hotel Virtual Tour: Turn Lookers Into Bookers
Let guests walk your lobby, rooms and pool before they book — and give them a reason to book direct instead of through an OTA.
According to a 2013 Google study, travellers who view a virtual tour are roughly twice as likely to make a booking.

Hotel virtual tour: the booking decision happens before check-in
A hotel virtual tour lets future guests wander from your lobby to the room categories, the breakfast terrace, the spa and the pool — in full 360 degrees, on any device. Travellers now compare hotels across OTAs, Google and your own website before committing, and the question running through their head is always the same: "Will it really look like this?" A hotel virtual tour is the most convincing answer you can give, and it is available around the clock, in every market you serve.
The problem: OTA dependence and photo scepticism
Two forces squeeze hotel margins today. First, a large share of bookings arrives through online travel agencies charging double-digit commissions — your own website converts only a fraction of the traffic it gets. Second, travellers have learned to distrust photography: ultra-wide lenses, heavy retouching and that one flattering angle. Boutique hotels, heritage properties and resorts suffer most, because atmosphere is precisely their product — and atmosphere is exactly what flat photos fail to carry. Corporate clients hunting for wedding venues or meeting space will not even request a quote before they have seen the room layout.
What a 360° tour delivers
- More direct bookings: A tour embedded on your website keeps visitors engaged and nudges them towards your own booking engine. Every direct reservation is commission saved.
- Smarter upselling: Stop describing the difference between a standard room and a sea-view suite — show it. Guests who have seen both choose the upgrade consciously.
- A stronger Google presence: Publishing the tour via Google Street View puts your interior directly inside your Maps listing, where booking journeys begin.
- Faster events sales: Wedding planners and conference organisers pre-qualify your ballrooms and terraces online; your sales team talks only to serious enquiries.
Scenarios from our portfolio
For Baia Otel in Bursa, Türkiye, we built a tour that ties together a full-scale city hotel: lobby, room floors, restaurant and meeting salons in one continuous experience. At the other end of the scale, Trilyalı Butik Otel — a boutique heritage property in the historic harbour town of Trilye — uses its tour differently: stone walls, timber ceilings and a breakfast terrace above the sea simply cannot be conveyed in stills. Two very different properties, the same outcome: the guest arrives already familiar with the hotel.
The same logic serves beach resorts, aparthotels, guesthouses and ski lodges. Whatever your room count, the guest's question never changes: "What does it feel like to be there?" A virtual tour is the answer.
How a shoot fits into hotel operations
We plan the shoot around your rhythm: rooms are photographed right after housekeeping, shared spaces like the lobby and restaurant in the quietest hours of the day. Guest privacy is absolute — no guest appears in the tour. Delivery is a single link: embedded on your website, shared by your reservations and sales teams, pinned on your social profiles, and opened at trade fairs and travel agent meetings. Want the beach, gardens or rooftop in the mix? Dedicated outdoor scenes show the location as convincingly as the rooms. Renovated a floor later? We re-shoot only those scenes; the tour's backbone stays intact for years.

Will the tour appear on Google Maps?
Yes. We can publish your tour to Google Street View, so travellers who find your hotel on Maps can step inside immediately.
Do we need to photograph every single room?
No. One representative room per category is usually enough — combined with the lobby, restaurant, pool and meeting spaces it tells the full story.
What happens when we renovate a floor?
We simply re-shoot the renovated scenes and update the tour. The rest stays untouched, which keeps the cost low.
Is there a yearly or seasonal fee?
No. You pay once for the production; the tour stays online for life with no subscription.
