In 2020, Baia Otel in Bursa commissioned 360virtualtour.net to make that promise verifiable — with a full 360 virtual tour of the property, aerial panoramas from above the hotel, and publication on Google Street View so travellers can step inside straight from Google Maps.

Bursa draws visitors year-round for business, thermal tourism and as a gateway to Uludağ. For a hotel in that market, being open for inspection online is a direct booking advantage: guests who have already walked the lobby and seen the rooms book with fewer doubts and fewer surprises on arrival.

Scope of the shoot

A hotel tour has to cover the whole guest journey, and we photographed it as such: the arrival and lobby, the corridors, representative guest rooms and suites, the restaurant and breakfast areas, and the shared facilities guests use during their stay. Each space was captured as connected panoramic scenes, so an online visitor moves through the hotel the way a guest would.

The aerial part of the project added drone panoramas above the property, showing the hotel in its surroundings — the view no interior shot can give. All interiors were shot with HDR bracketing to balance daylight from the windows against the warm interior lighting that gives the rooms their character.
