Architectural Photography
Architectural and interior photography: magazine-quality, web- and print-ready images for hotels, showrooms, offices and residential projects.
First impressions happen on a screen now
Architectural photography is the moment your space meets its next customer. A hotel guest will not book a room they have not seen; a furniture buyer will not visit a showroom that looks unremarkable online. In both cases the decision is made on a phone screen, long before anyone walks through your door. At 360virtualtour.net we have specialised in exactly this moment since 2004: producing images that show a space with the same impact as standing inside it.
From our bases in Istanbul and Amsterdam we have completed 50+ projects across 3 countries: Türkiye, the Netherlands and Belgium. Hotels, furniture showrooms, offices, restaurants, galleries and residential developments all demand different light handling, different styling and a different story. That range of experience means there are very few on-site situations we have not solved before: the reflections of a glass-fronted lobby, the darkness of a windowless basement floor, the tight angles of a compact hotel room.
Why professional architectural photography matters
Modern phones take decent snapshots, but architectural photography is a separate discipline. In amateur shots windows blow out to white, wood textures flatten, vertical lines lean inwards and rooms appear smaller and darker than they are. In professional work, each of these is managed deliberately:
- Perfectly straight verticals, even at wide angles
- HDR exposure that balances bright windows against interior lighting
- Angles and polarisation that keep mirrors, glass and glossy floors under control
- Honest wide-angle framing that conveys volume without distortion
- Detail frames that sell quality: a door handle, a fabric weave, a lighting fixture
The return on this discipline is tangible: more clicks on booking platforms, longer time on listing pages, a catalogue that does your product justice. Your photography is a sales representative that works around the clock. Weak images are a silent tax, undervaluing your space every single day.
Our process and what you receive
Every project starts with a survey. We either visit the location or build the shot list with you from plans and reference images: which angles, which time of day for the best light, how many frames. For hotels we plan around sunrise and sunset light; for restaurants, the quiet hours before service.
On shoot day we work with an HDR workflow, merging multiple exposures of the same composition so the view through the window and the interior details live naturally in a single frame. The same discipline behind our 16K HDR virtual tour pipeline applies to every still image. Where needed we support the existing light with flash, but the goal is never to change the atmosphere of the space; it is to carry onto the sensor the balance the human eye sees.
After the shoot, each frame is individually processed: colour and perspective correction, removal of small distractions, retouching to editorial standard. You receive two sets of files: web- and social-media-optimised versions plus high-resolution archives ready for print. Everything arrives named and organised by area, so you never have to guess which image belongs where.
Photography or virtual tour?
The two are not rivals but teammates. A virtual tour lets the visitor explore freely; it builds trust and keeps people on the page. Photography fixes the strongest moments between those stops in catalogue and advertising quality. Booking platforms, listing portals, printed brochures and social ads all demand still frames; your own homepage demands the tour. That is why we shoot both on the same day with the same crew: the space is prepared once, travel is paid once, and the visual language stays consistent across everything you publish.
Sectors we shoot
Hotels and hospitality: every room type, lobby, restaurant, spa and exterior, delivered in the right aspect ratios for Booking.com and your own website.
Furniture and showrooms: we have photographed showrooms from Bursa to Amsterdam. Close-ups that convey fabric texture and finish quality, wide angles that present the full collection.
Offices and corporate spaces: work areas, meeting rooms and shared spaces, shot clean for employer branding and property leasing use.
Restaurants, cafés and retail: not menu photography, but the atmosphere of the venue itself: images that invite guests through the door.
Residential and real estate: show apartment and development photography that convinces buyers before they ever reach the sales office.
Museums, galleries and cultural venues: documentation at publication and archive quality, preserving both the exhibition layout and the character of the space.
Pricing: one-time, no surprises
We do not work with subscriptions. You pay the shoot fee once and the images are yours forever, with no licence renewals or annual fees. The price table below shows the packages connected to this service. Combined with a virtual tour in a single visit, one crew and one travel cost, the total budget drops noticeably.

How long does an architectural photo shoot take?
A typical hotel or showroom shoot takes two to four hours on location, depending on the size of the space and the shot list we agree on beforehand. Retouched images are usually delivered within a few business days.
Who owns the rights to the photos?
You do. Every delivered image comes with full commercial usage rights for your website, brochures, social channels and listing portals. There are no licence renewals or annual fees of any kind.
How should we prepare the space before the shoot?
We send a short preparation checklist before every shoot: cleaning, decluttering, adjusting curtains and lighting. Small steps like these visibly improve the result. For hotels and restaurants we recommend scheduling during quiet hours.
Can we combine photography with a virtual tour shoot?
Yes, and it is the most efficient option. We capture the 360° virtual tour and the still photography in a single visit, so preparation and travel costs are paid once. Combined bookings also keep the total budget lower.
Do you work outside Türkiye?
We are based in Istanbul and Amsterdam and actively shoot in Türkiye, the Netherlands and Belgium. Projects elsewhere can be quoted depending on travel planning.
