Scope of the shoot
We photographed the gallery as a connected series of panoramic scenes that follow the natural viewing route through the exhibition space. In a gallery, camera placement is a curatorial decision as much as a technical one: each position had to respect how the works were hung and how visitors were meant to encounter them.
Galleries present a particular photographic discipline: controlled lighting on the works, white walls that punish sloppy exposure, and reflective frames and glass. We shot with HDR bracketing and careful colour work so the tour reproduces the room as it actually felt — the light, the scale and the spacing the curation intended.
