Families planning a day out want to know what to expect — and a 360 virtual tour answers that better than any photo gallery. In 2017, 360virtualtour.net produced a virtual tour for Attractiecentrum Zuiderpark, an attraction centre in Zuiderpark, the large public park in The Hague, giving visitors a chance to explore the venue online before their visit.

The project is one of our earliest featured works in the Netherlands and part of a portfolio that has grown to 52 projects across 3 countries since 2004.

Scope of the shoot

Attraction venues are built for movement and variety, so the tour had to cover a lot of ground. We captured the venue as a series of connected panoramic scenes that follow the visitor's natural route: arriving, moving between activity areas, and taking in the scale of the place from the inside.

Shooting in a venue designed for crowds means planning carefully around opening hours and visitor flows. We scheduled the work so the spaces could be photographed clean and calm, with our panoramic setup and HDR exposure bracketing to balance bright daylight areas against the shaded interior sections.
