In 2019, 360virtualtour.net produced a 360 virtual tour for the wedding celebration of Ziya and Nora Turkyilmaz in Istanbul, preserving the venue and the atmosphere of the day in a form the couple can revisit for the rest of their lives.

Scope of the shoot

We photographed the celebration venue as a connected series of panoramic scenes covering the spaces the day belonged to: the entrance and welcome area, the main hall with its decoration and table arrangements, and the sections guests moved through across the celebration. The walkthrough preserves not just the room but the state it was in — the styling and setting as the day presented them.

Celebration venues are dramatic lighting environments: decorative light against darker areas, reflections on dressed tables. We shot with HDR bracketing so the finished tour keeps the sparkle of the setting without losing the room to shadow, and timed the work within the day's schedule so the venue was captured in its finished, ready state.
